Politic News Today- Prince Andrew Hosted Epstein and Weinstein
Summary
  • Photos show Prince Andrew personally hosted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Harvey Weinstein at Royal Lodge during Princess Beatrice’s 2006 18th birthday.
  • The Royal Lodge visit occurred two months after a US warrant for Epstein and eight days before his July 2006 arrest, intensifying scrutiny of Andrew.
  • Andrew’s longstanding ties to Epstein and Maxwell—flight logs, invitations, and prior visits—contradict his 2019 claim of ignorance about Epstein’s legal troubles.

In a bombshell revelation that intensifies scrutiny on Prince Andrew’s ties to convicted sex offenders, exclusive images obtained by The Daily Exposé confirm that the disgraced royal personally hosted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Harvey Weinstein at his private residence, Royal Lodge, during his daughter Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday celebrations in 2006.

The trio – all now infamous for their roles in separate sexual abuse scandals – posed together on the manicured lawn of the Windsor estate, dressed in fancy attire for the masked ball.

Weinstein and Epstein donned sharp suits, while Maxwell sported a mask, standing amid the historic grounds of the Crown Estate property.

This visit occurred a mere two months after a US arrest warrant was issued for Epstein on charges of sexual assault of a minor, and just eight days before his actual arrest by Florida police.

The warrant, issued on May 3, 2006, by the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, accused Epstein of soliciting prostitution from a minor – the first public legal action in what would become a sprawling federal investigation into his sex trafficking network.

Royal Lodge: Andrew’s Private Haven for Controversial Guests

Previously, reports had placed Epstein, Maxwell, and Weinstein at Windsor Castle for the main event – a lavish champagne reception and banquet in the state rooms.

But The Daily Exposé can reveal they were first entertained at Royal Lodge itself, Prince Andrew’s 30-room mansion on the royal grounds, which he has occupied since 2003 under a 75-year lease from the Crown Estate.

The Grade II-listed property, originally built in 1662 and once home to the Queen Mother, underwent a reported £7.5 million renovation funded by Andrew before he moved in.

The BBC has independently verified the location by matching the distinctive trees and patio wall in the published photo to known images of Royal Lodge.

Epstein and Maxwell were no strangers to royal hospitality.

The pair were photographed at Balmoral in Scotland in 1999, invited by Andrew, and Epstein attended Windsor Castle in 2000.

That same year, Andrew hosted a birthday event for Maxwell at Sandringham, which he later described to BBC Newsnight as “a straightforward shooting weekend.”

Court documents from Maxwell’s 2021 trial revealed Epstein’s private jet logs showing multiple flights with Prince Andrew between 1999 and 2006, including trips to New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and London.

In 2002, Maxwell even sat on the throne at Buckingham Palace during a private tour reportedly organized by Prince Andrew, alongside actor Kevin Spacey – though Epstein was not present.

The tour, arranged through Andrew’s office, took place during a period when Maxwell was actively recruiting underage girls for Epstein, according to testimony from victims including Virginia Giuffre and Johanna Sjoberg.

Andrew has admitted to traveling on Epstein’s private jet, staying at his private island (Little St. James, later dubbed “Pedophile Island” in court filings), his Palm Beach mansion, and visiting Maxwell’s Belgravia home in London – a townhouse purchased with Epstein’s funds in 2001.

Andrew’s 2019 Denial: “I Wasn’t Aware… He Never Said Anything”

When grilled by BBC Newsnight in 2019 about inviting Epstein to Beatrice’s birthday after the warrant was issued, Andrew claimed: Certainly I wasn’t aware when the invitation was issued what was going on in the United States and I wasn’t aware until the media picked up on it because he never said anything about it.”

This statement came under intense scrutiny after FBI records showed Epstein’s legal troubles were widely reported in U.S. media by mid-2006.

Epstein was arrested eight days later, on July 27, 2006.

In 2008, he struck a controversial non-prosecution agreement with U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta, pleading guilty to state charges of soliciting prostitution from a minor – a deal that allowed him to serve just 13 months in a county jail with work release.

Maxwell is now serving a 20-year sentence at FCI Tallahassee after her 2021 conviction on five counts, including sex trafficking of a minor.

Weinstein, once Hollywood’s most powerful producer, was convicted in New York (2020) and Los Angeles (2022) of rape and sexual assault; his New York conviction was overturned in 2024 on procedural grounds, triggering a retrial.

Fresh Pressure on Andrew’s Luxurious Lifestyle

The Duke of York, stripped of his HRH title, military affiliations, and patronages by Queen Elizabeth II in January 2022, settled a civil lawsuit with accuser Virginia Giuffre in February 2022 for an estimated £12 million – though the exact figure remains undisclosed.

Giuffre’s posthumously published memoir, The Girl from Nowhere (released October 2025), alleges she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions between 2001 and 2002: once in London, once in New York, and once on Epstein’s island with Epstein and “eight other young girls.”

Andrew has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, telling Newsnight he did not remember meeting Giuffre “at all” and that they “never had any sort of sexual contact.”

He famously cited an inability to sweat (due to a Falklands War-related condition) and a visit to PizzaExpress in Woking as alibis for the night Giuffre claimed they met in London.

Yet questions swirl over how the non-working royal funds his opulent life at Royal Lodge – owned by the Crown Estate, with profits funneled to the Treasury.

Reports reveal he pays only a token annual rent of £260 per week, having prepaid £1 million in 2003 for a 75-year lease and personally funding extensive renovations, including a £2 million security upgrade.

Buckingham Palace has remained silent on whether Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson might relocate.

Sources indicate Adelaide Cottage (currently home to the Prince and Princess of Wales) and Frogmore Cottage (vacated by Prince Harry and Meghan in 2023) on the Windsor grounds were floated as alternatives months ago during tense negotiations over Andrew’s future.

Epstein died by suicide, or so they say, in a New York jail in August 2019 while awaiting federal sex trafficking charges.

The medical examiner ruled it a hanging, though conspiracy theories persist.
